社教运动，四清
1963年，大饥荒刚缓过劲来，农村的集市和包产到户刚救活了人，毛泽东就又坐不住了。他觉得资本主义又要复辟，亲自发动了“四清运动”，要清理账目、仓库、财物和工分。毛泽东想放手发动群众整“走资派”，刘少奇却派工作组去查账算钱。两个最高领导各唱各的调，文革的风暴已经在暗中聚气了。

性质
四清运动是文化大革命的实战演习。毛泽东发现刘少奇手里的官僚机器像一块厚海绵，不管上头怎么喊阶级斗争，下面全拿来查账抓小偷，把群众运动给化解了。毛泽东终于明白，靠党内正常的整风根本换不掉刘少奇的人马，必须打烂整个现成体制，放手发动红卫兵大造反。
